Hello, my name is Bárbara, but most people call me Babi. I’m children’s illustrator and author.

🏖️I’m  Brazilian and I live in Recife, a city that feels like it’s summer all year round.

I love forms of artistic expression, besides drawing, I like singing, taking ballet classes and piano lessons.

I am passionate about imagining and creating, especially playful ideas.

I have illustrated more than 20 children’s books and have illustrations in various parts of the world.
